Legend Of the Phychics (Part 2)“Wait, what? We do?” I replied hastily.
“Well, it’s not quite certain yet.” Sef said while opening the book.
“This is something that’s been passed down from generation from generation, called the “Book of Tales”, he said while flipping through the pages.
“This is the prophecy?” I asked while examining the book as Sef flipped the pages.
“See the thing is that it talks in riddles. Though, once you decode the riddle, it fits with what’s been happening so far.”
“Read this and tell me what you think.” he said, pointing to a stanza in the book.
One thousand lies have been told, though none have been thought. The meeting of the snake and the salamander will commence. Only intelligence can be bought, for only one will prevail, and one will lose all.
“Sorry, I don’t quite get it.” I said while awkwardly laughing.
“Ugh, use that brain of yours and think about some of the latest
Practice #6 - The Second BladeIt’s our anniversary today; I hope I can get her a great present.
“Sir, you forgot your bag” the store manager yelled.
“Oh yeah, ha-ha, my bad!” I said clumsily as I went back to retrieve my bag.
Today is a great day. It is June 6th, the day of me and my wife’s 26th anniversary. I usually top it every year, except I’m getting to the point in my life where I become forgetful, and I just now remembered. Everything is last minute right now, though I still want to top what I did last year. At last year’s anniversary, I took her out on a week cruise, just the two of us, away from our problems, and just relax.
This year, I must top it no matter what. She means the world to me, and I don’t want her to seem sad if I get her a bad gift. I walked out of the store, and took the shortest path home, the left sidewalk. Going down this path I can go through the alley on my way home. I told her that I would go shopping, and she demanded that I went
The Story Behind Me - My Autobiography(10%) The Story Behind Me
When I was little, I was definitely the one to call weird. I do not know why, now looking back, I just was. Whether, I had some weird obsession for attention, I do not think I will ever now. However, it is those experiences, I think, that helped m be who I am today. I think that who I am today, is who I was always trying to be, and from those experiences, I have become something I can be happy with. My name is Adrian Cowherd, and my story is a weird one, though, relatable.
The furthest I can remember was back in first grade. At that time, I think I was about six. I was younger than everyone was in my class, due to me skipping Kindergarten.Anyways, back then; I remember we would have recess every day. We would get out of class for a good twenty to thirty minutes a day and play. However, I was the odd one out. I would see everyone play, and yet I was alone. I would
Practice #6 - DumbfoundedDUMBFOUNDED
I woke up feeling really good today; better than any other day. I looked over at my alarm clock.
“Damnit, Damnit, Damnit!” I said, noticing the clock said nine o’clock.
I ran out of bed and headed for my bathroom. I grabbed my toothbrush and toothpaste from my sink and ran out of the bathroom. I quickly put on my pants, changed my shirt, and tried putting on my shoes. I then put my backpack on and ran downstairs.
“Honey, do you want break—“my mom tried yelling as I rushed out of my house.
I was running full speed to school; I could not afford to miss the class before the mid-term exams in a week. I ran through the streets, finally approaching my school’s entrance. I speed through the doors, went down the corridors, and opened the door for my class, yelling
“I’m sorry I was late, won’t happen again.”
My head was bowed for a good ten seconds before I looked up and realized what was going on.
Practice #4 - Legend Of The PsychicsSmall Prologue
I didn’t know I had this power at that time. I was just a kid, frightened by society. Though ,if fate had let me live it over again, I don’t think I would have unlocked it as I had. Maybe so, though I still wonder. It might not be too late to go back, go back to the beginning, before all of this. Before I knew that I was one of the Legendary Psychics.
Chapter 1 – The Prophecy
My family and I, lived on the left side of a mountain called Canapulis, one of the largest mountains in our land. My father worked for a small guild and my mother would stay at home, and take care of us. I had three siblings all together, two boys and one girl. My sister’s name is Selvina; she was seventeen going on eighteen. She was an excellent archer, and would always want a good challenge. Then there’s my brother, he was a bold and distinguished figure. His name was Eric, and he was much older than my sister and I, as he was going on his twenty-second year of age.
Practice #3 - No Identity“Where did he come from? “asked one man.
“I found him lying on the beach, like this.” says a young boy.
“Was there any belongings or personal items he might’ve had?” asked a fairly older man.
“He was just there, lying on the beach, no clothes no nothing. His eyes were open and he had this weird green glow on his waist.” replied the young boy hesitantly.
“Uh huh, and that’s all?” the older man asks.
“Yes Sir.” the boy replied his head bowed.
“You may go back to your home boy, thanks for the intel.” the younger man says.
The boy leaves with his head nodded down, almost like he is scared to look up. The men then look at the unconscious man sitting at the table.
“So what should we do with him? He’s been quite fun to deal with.” says the older gentlemen.
“It sure has been.” says an unfamiliar voice.
The man that was unconscious is gone from where he used to be and
Practice #2 - The AccidentMy name is James Johnson. I am a worker at a place called “Rec Entertainment”. The place I work at makes customized T.V’s and other electronics for people who ask for them. I think we are quite expensive, but hey, its customization, who doesn’t want customized electronics? Though, I’ve only been working here for six months now, and I really like my job. Its minimum wage, but at least its money, right?
“James come here!” Jack yelled from the cash register. Jack is my brother; my mom thought it’d be great to give him a “J” name like mine.
“What do you want? It’s almost time to close.” I yelled to him.
“I want you to finish closing, Sally just told me she wants to talk to me.”, he said with a grin.
“You mean that girl you’ve been dating for like…a week?” I replied laughing.
“Well, yeah. Why is that a bad thing?” he asked while helping that last customer on his isle
